High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
HDPE is a versatile and durable material that is used in a myriad of applications. It is impact resistant and has a low coefficient of friction. It is moisture, stain and odor resistant as well as impervious to many chemicals. It is a lightweight and economical alternative to other plastic products. HDPE is readily fabricated using standard woodworking tools.
Typical applications include cutting boards, tanks, liners, playground structures, bathroom partitions, manhole covers, signs, pipe and plastic sheeting.
Capabilities
- Sheet thicknesses: 0.125" through 4"
- Sheet sizes: 4' x 8' (stock), 54" x 96" (marine board), 4' x 10', 55" x 120" (partition board) and 5' x 10'
- Grades: Natural, UV-stabilized, co-extruded, textured and FDA approved
- Colors: White (natural), black and custom color matching
- Film and pipe are also available
